NEST Response to Covid-19 Crisis

prabha acharyaMrs. Prabha Acharya is a member of Executive committee of NEST. She was employed at Advocacy Forum Nepal as a Psychosocial Counsellor and was responsible to provide counselling, advance counselling, and evidence based counselling service. Before this she has worked with Child Welfare Scheme Pokhara as a Community Mobilization Officer, and implemented community mobilization activities of Early Grade Reading Program (EGRP) to increase family and community support for Early Grade Reading in Kaski district. Similarly, she formed and strengthened capacities of school management committee, parent teacher association together with other community forums such as Early Grade.

In addition, she was employed at Ace Trading Pvt. Ltd into the post of Operation In-charge. As a head, she administered strategic logistics plans and budget by outlining key logistics activities, the projected costs, as well as expected outcomes. And, prior joining to this company, she has worked with Nepal Water Supply Corporation as an Administrative position and carried out administrative support activities. As an administrative staff, she effectively managed the customer billing system along the front desk operations including other office management, communication and secretarial work. Mrs. Prabha holds a MA with an added emphasis on population Studies, a BA in population and sociology and an Intermediate in Arts from Tribhuvan University Nepal.
